The Parks and Recreation Commission is composed of seven voting members who meet to discuss the operation and development of recreation, parks, and playgrounds in an advisory capacity to the Town’s Parks and Recreation Department. The commission reviews rules and regulations concerning the operation and conduct of the recreational facilities operated by the Parks and Recreation Department. It also serves in the capacity of the Wendell Tree Board, serving as an advising Board on the planting, growth, and protection of trees within the Town.
The Parks and Recreation Commission generally meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall. For more information, visit
