The second cycle of our participatory budgeting process is ready to move forward with turning the winning project proposals into reality. In this new City Life episode, Host Beverly B. Thompson talks with Interim Assistant Budget Director Andrew Holland and Dr. Harvey Hinton, executive director CAARE, a local nonprofit that is one of this cycle’s grant recipients. Both of our guests are sharing more about what participatory budgeting is, how it’s making an impact in our community, and why this second cycle is working differently than the first.
