Town of Morrisville issued the following announcement on Apr. 7.
The Town of Morrisville will honor the earth by having an Earth Day Celebration and Green Day event on Saturday, April 30. Check out some of our Green Day vendor stations:
Paper shredding: Limited to 2 bags or boxes per household or business.
Textiles: Green Zone Recycling bin will be available to collect textiles such as clothing, shoes and other household textiles.
F.O.G. Collection: Fats, oils, and grease.
Electronics Recycling: Personal computers, servers, cell phones, etc.
Medication Take Back: Morrisville Police Department will accept unused prescription medication for proper legal disposal.
Batteries: Accepting all household batteries. (No large car/boat/vehicle or leaking batteries.)
Food Drive: "Fill the Truck" with Public Works as they collect non-perishables for Dorcas Ministries.
