Town of Garner issued the following announcement on Dec. 20.
Town facilities will be closed Dec. 23-27 and Jan. 2 for the holidays.
An exception is Garner Recreation Center, which will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2 for the holidays and also to enable floor maintenance.
There will be no change to the schedule for solid-waste collection.
During Garner Recreation Center’s closure, Avery Street Recreation Center (125 Avery St.) will offer the following:
* Adult Walking, Dec. 28-30, 9-10 a.m.
* Adult Open Gym, Dec. 29, 2-3 p.m.
* Youth Open Gym, Dec. 28 and Dec. 30, 3-5 p.m.
