Cost: $25 Resident / $40 Non-Resident
Stand-Up Paddle Board and Kayak Intro Classes
Come join our experienced instructors for a fun, entry-level kayak or stand-up paddle board class! We will introduce the fundamentals of kayaking or paddle boarding and go on a quick guided tour along the lake. All equipment will be provided. No experience is necessary. Ages 14+.
Stand-Up Paddle Board and Kayak Intro Classes
Enjoy a unique experience of Lake Wheeler from a kayak or paddle board! Our experienced instructors will take you on a relaxing kayak tour around the lake to enjoy the outdoors and see our wildlife. All equipment will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own as well. Prior experience is recommended. Ages 14+.
Parent & Me: Paddlers to Be
Engage with your child through a paddling experience on Lake Wheeler! Our instructor will guide parent-child duos on an easy paddling tour in tandem kayaks! This is perfect for parents who would like to introduce their younger children to paddling. This class is geared towards children aged 5-13. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. It is recommended that adults have some form of paddling experience. Fee is per duo.
