Come find your way with clay in the pottery studios at Pullen Arts! Teens are invited to the wheel and handbuilding studios for a four-morning "intensive" where we'll explore the foundations of making work in clay using a variety of techniques and inspiration, with the support of two teaching artists! Find out what the "exquisite corpse" can teach us, how to craft new takes on traditional ceramics, making functional containers for your favorite things, and level up your skill set by trying your hand at the wheel, too. All experience levels are welcome--we'll meet you where you are, make space for your individual ideas and personality, and teach you what you need to know to make some unique and useful ceramic art! Please dress for mess and bring a snack and a water bottle. All materials provided, works will be fired after class and available for pickup within about two weeks. 4 sessions. - PrintmakingTeen Printmaking Intensive - Let's Experiment!
