Hey there, skateboarding and wheeled sports community members.  We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you. The Conlon Family Skatepark, a joint effort between the Raleigh Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department and Skate Raleigh, is in the making. But here's the best part: it's not just another skatepark; it's a special place that will bring our community closer together.

The Conlon Family Skatepark will soon come to life at the old City of Raleigh maintenance facility, which will eventually transform into the future Smoky Hollow Park. The construction of this remarkable skatepark is already underway, and we couldn't be more excited.

What makes the Conlon Family Skatepark truly unique is its temporary nature. We have the incredible opportunity to experience and enjoy this skatepark until 2025. We've got years of fun, thrilling tricks, and unforgettable memories waiting for us.

Now, let's dive deeper into why skateparks like the Conlon Family Skatepark are so important. Beyond being a haven for skateboarders and wheeled sports enthusiasts, they play a vital role in building healthy communities. They serve as gathering spots where people from all walks of life can come together, connect, and share their love for skateboarding and wheeled sports.

Get ready for an incredible journey at the Conlon Family Skatepark. It's not just a skatepark; it's a place where we create memories, inspire one another, and build a stronger, healthier community.
