The City of Raleigh is hosting a Homeownership Information Fair to highlight programs and services available to prospective or existing homeowners.
Scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 15th, the Homeownership Information Fair will be held at the Carolina Pines Community Center, welcoming attendees from 10 am to 1 pm. This event presents an excellent opportunity for individuals and families looking to purchase their first home or maintain their current home.
Prospective homeowners can drop by to learn about:
- Homebuyer assistance programs, which help with down payment, closing costs, or other financing gaps for income-qualified, first-time homebuyers
- Affordable homeownership programs and opportunities in the area
Do you already own your home? At the Information Fair, you can gain information about:
- Rehabilitation and repair programs to help finance the cost of major home repairs and other maintenance to extend the life of homeowner-occupied homes
- Property tax assistance programs for low-income seniors and disabled individuals that Wake County oversees
- The City's Drainage Assistance Program, Water Bill Assistance Program, and ADU Fast-Track
Light refreshments and child care will be available at the event. Registration is not required but is encouraged if you plan to attend one of the Mini Homebuyer Workshops.
