Peach Road Cultural Center Temporary Closure

The Peach Road Cultural Center will be temporarily closed starting at the end of January 2024 for indoor facility renovations. We anticipate reopening in early summer 2024.

Programs, Events, and Amenities During the Closure

Programs

A few of our most popular programs, listed below, will continue at Carolina Pines Community Center - 2305 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh, NC 27603.

Shuttle transportation from Peach Road to Carolina Pines will be provided for our English program – please arrive at Peach Road at least 15 minutes before the event start time to board the shuttle.

English Class

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. - noon

Strings Class

Tuesdays, 3:30 - 6 p.m. and Wednesdays, 4:45 - 5:45 p.m.

Sewing Class

Thursdays, 1 - 3 p.m.

Events

We are excited to share that our most popular outdoor events, like Children’s Day in April and World Refugee Day in June, will be able to go on as planned. We are also planning to host several outdoor pop-up events for you and your families to attend.

Family Soccer Skills series

Fridays, March 22-May 10, 6 -7:30 p.m.

Eid al-Fitr Dinner

April 10

Mother’s Day Jewelry Making

May 12, 3 -5 p.m.

Striker Shooting Clinic

May 25-26

Park – Fields, Courts, Playground

The Peach Road Park will still be open and available for use, which includes the playground, basketball court, futsal court, and soccer field.

Wednesday After-School Soccer will take place as usual on the soccer fields from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
