Raleigh's Historic Trolley is offering a special edition of its popular Black history tour, focusing on the rich heritage of Oberlin Village. This tour aims to highlight the history of community and freedom in this historic neighborhood.

The tour will commence at Mordecai Historic Park and take passengers to Oberlin Village, where they will have the opportunity to explore the Historic Turner House and Oberlin Cemetery. These sites hold significant historical importance and provide insights into the struggles and triumphs of the African American community.

The Black history trolley tours will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24, and Sunday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Each tour will last approximately one hour, providing participants with a comprehensive overview of Oberlin Village's past.
