The City of Raleigh is calling on community partners to share their Environmental Stewardship and Education Programs as part of an initiative to engage youth in environmental stewardship and education. This call to action aligns with the priorities outlined in Raleigh’s City Council and Strategic Plan.

According to the city, "Environmental stewardship and education identify actions and best practices to protect the natural environment and promote sustainability." The involvement of the City of Raleigh, external organizations, and residents is seen as crucial in creating community initiatives and programs to achieve these goals.

Organizations interested in participating can do so by completing the Environmental Education Engagement Survey. The City of Raleigh aims to identify potential opportunities for partnerships and collaborations with future environmental programs. The deadline to complete the survey is set for Friday, March 22, 2024.
