The second phase of community engagement for the Neuse River Park Master Plan is rapidly coming to a close. According to the Neuse River Park Master Plan, "Your feedback is essential for us to move forward and create a single draft concept for the next phase." This phase of engagement focuses on evaluating the pros and cons of various design elements outlined in the concepts developed by the design team, which have been informed by community feedback from the previous phase of engagement.
The Neuse River Park Master Plan emphasizes the importance of community participation, stating, "Your participation is key to shaping the future of this project." Individuals are encouraged to take action by visiting the Engagement Portal to provide feedback and find answers to any questions they may have about the project. Time is of the essence as the survey will close on Monday, March 18.
In addition to the online survey, an upcoming event is scheduled for June 27 at Durant Nature Preserve. The Neuse River Park Public Workshop - Draft Concept Plan will provide further opportunities for the community to engage with the project and contribute to its development.
As the deadline for the online survey approaches, community members are urged to participate and have their voices heard in the planning process for the Neuse River Park Master Plan.
