Mordecai Historic Park is gearing up for their annual Heirloom Plant Sale, a celebration of Earth Day where gardening enthusiasts can kickstart their herb, vegetable, and flower gardens for the season. The event will feature a variety of heirloom plants, all nurtured from seed by the skilled Mordecai Historic Park gardeners.
According to the announcement, the plant sale will offer a diverse selection including tomatoes, peppers, squash, herbs, and much more. Visitors can look forward to engaging with knowledgeable gardeners who will be available to answer questions and provide insights about the garden and grounds at Mordecai Historic Park.
The sale is scheduled to take place on Friday and Saturday, April 26-27, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mordecai Visitor Center. The entry to the event is free, and plants will be available for purchase at prices ranging from $3 to $5.
