The Speakeasy Players, a group of adult performers who meet and perform at the Five Points Center on Monday afternoons, will host an early evening showcase featuring skits, games, and interactive activities. The event is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 10, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and is free of charge.

The group prides itself on delivering performances across various genres including comedy, mystery, and drama. "We don’t bother to memorize our scripts – we read them, but with expression, passion, anger, joy, or whatever the characters call for!" the group stated.

The showcase will run for approximately 45 minutes and includes several short skits designed for both adults and children. Attendees can expect a blend of humor and engaging activities that involve audience participation.

For those interested in attending the event at the Five Points Center, registration is available through RecLink.
