A new outdoor art series for adults and teens aged 16 and up will commence this month. The program, which caters to individuals of all skill levels, aims to create a collaborative learning environment where participants can engage in creative activities with others. Each monthly session will focus on a different art skill.

The upcoming session will concentrate on outdoor watercolor painting. Participants are invited to bring their own materials, though basic supplies such as paint, brushes, paper, and table easels will be available for use during the event. The session will begin with introductions and group discussions on painting outdoors, followed by an exploration of basic watercolor techniques. Attendees will also have time for independent work on either ongoing projects or new pieces.

The gathering will conclude with a sharing session where participants can showcase their work. Simple watercolor supplies will be provided, but artists are encouraged to bring their own materials.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., is open to individuals aged 16 and older, and costs $10. Interested participants can register on RecLink.
