SEEK Raleigh, an experimental public art program by Raleigh Arts, engages the community through public art in City of Raleigh parks, greenways, and community spaces. The program allows artists to introduce the public to new and thought-provoking experiences through temporary public art.

Raleigh Arts has announced the SEEK Raleigh 2024/2025 cohort. The participating artists are Candy Carver, Chinese Artists and Organizers (CAO) Collective 离离草, Katie Stewart & Jay Ross, Kelsey Merreck Wagner, Mark Anthony Brown Jr., and The Grid Project.

The Grid Project is a Raleigh-based arts collective comprising artists Daniel Kelly, Jean Gray Mohs, Pete Sack, and Lamar Whidbee. Starting in October, the Project will feature exhibitions, engagements, and workshops using donated indoor and outdoor spaces.

SEEK Raleigh accepts proposals year-round with applications reviewed every six months in the Spring and Fall. More information about applying can be found on the SEEK Raleigh artist call page.

Raleigh Arts is part of the City of Raleigh’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. It fosters and promotes the arts in Raleigh by administering programs of the Raleigh Arts Commission and the Public Art and Design Board while supporting Pullen and Sertoma Arts Centers.

For more details about upcoming projects or to stay updated on SEEK Raleigh events, visit their website or subscribe to their Arts Flash Newsletter.
