Raleigh Parks has announced a new initiative called Wallpaper Wednesday, aimed at bringing local scenery to the screens of residents' smart devices. Each week, the department will feature images of well-known locations and hidden gems from around Raleigh on its Instagram profile (@raleighparks).

These wallpapers are intended to celebrate the community and provide a way for residents to connect with their surroundings. Followers can save their favorite images by taking screenshots of the stories posted.

In addition to Wallpaper Wednesday, Raleigh Parks encourages the community to follow its social media platforms—Facebook, X, and Instagram—for updates, events, and engaging content related to parks and recreation programs.

"We can’t wait to share these beautiful wallpapers with you and to keep you informed about all the exciting happenings in our parks," stated Raleigh Parks.
