The Active Adult Program has announced a series of overnight trips for 2025, offering diverse travel experiences. The trips include destinations such as Alaska, the Columbia and Snake Rivers, and Utah's National Parks.
The "Alaska Land and Sea" trip is scheduled from July 31 to August 11, 2025. Participants will experience two nights in Fairbanks, one night each in Denali and Anchorage, followed by a seven-night cruise aboard the Norwegian Jewel. Key attractions include a Riverboat Discovery Sternwheeler cruise, a tour of Denali National Park, and visits to various Alaskan cities like Juneau and Skagway. Cabin selection determines the trip cost per person.
For those interested in exploring the Pacific Northwest, the "Highlights of the Columbia and Snake River" trip will take place from July 20 to July 27, 2025. This journey includes visits to Mount Hood, Portland's historic districts, and features such as Multnomah Falls. Travelers will also enjoy a jet boat excursion on the Snake River and a dinner cruise on Lake Coeur d’Alene.
The third offering is "Utah’s National Parks," running from April 27 to May 2, 2025. This adventure includes stops at Salt Lake City, Moab's national parks including Arches National Park, and Monument Valley. Additional activities involve wine tasting in Moab and a Canyonlands by night cruise.
Interested individuals can attend informational meetings at the Anne Gordon Center for Active Adults on November 16th at various times throughout the day to learn more about each trip. Registration for these meetings is encouraged but not required for trip registration.
