The Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum is organizing its annual Dark Raleigh Walking Tour, an event that delves into some of the city's most intriguing and macabre historical events. This year, as in previous years, the tour will feature a new collection of chilling tales enacted by local actors.

Scheduled for October 24 and 25, tours will commence every half hour from 6 p.m., each lasting approximately one hour. Participants are advised to dress appropriately for outdoor walking.

The event is recommended for individuals aged 16 and older due to the mature themes present in the stories. The tour takes place at the City of Raleigh Museum with general admission tickets priced between $20 and $25.

Organizers have issued a content warning, noting that "content within the stories may be upsetting or disturbing to some participants," including mentions of sensitive topics such as sexual abuse, incest, abortion, suicide, death, illness, among others.
