Mordecai Historic Park hosts annual Holiday Open House with free events

The annual Holiday Open House at Mordecai Historic Park invites the public to explore holiday traditions and decorations spanning 239 years. Attendees can enjoy music, historic artifacts, and more in the beautifully adorned Mordecai House.

On Saturday, December 14, visitors can engage in holiday shopping at the Merry and Bright: A North Pole Market. The market offers unique gifts from various vendors, opportunities to create festive crafts, and food sampling.

Seasonal entertainment will be available alongside a cooking demonstration in the park's historic kitchen. Those interested can register for updates on Paper and Stars Studio’s Eventbrite page.

The event continues on Sunday, December 15, featuring live music by Triangle Shape Note. Both days are free of charge and open to all ages. For further details, contact the Mordecai Historic Park Visitor Center at 919-996-4364.
