The holiday season in Raleigh is set to be filled with various arts and cultural events, running from December 4 through New Year's Eve. These events are organized by Raleigh Arts Partners and aim to bring the community together for a festive celebration.

On December 4, the North Carolina Museum of History will present "Holiday Traditions You'll Only Find in the Old North State," an online event where historian Heather Leah shares stories about traditional Carolina Christmases.

From December 6 to December 7, the North Carolina Symphony, led by Carlos Migel Prieto, will perform selections from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Handel’s Messiah at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts. This performance will include collaboration with the North Carolina Master Chorale.

Theatre in the Park will host Ira David Wood III’s "A Christmas Carol" from December 6 to December 8 at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium. This musical adaptation of Dickens' classic celebrates its 51st anniversary this year.

Raleigh Little Theatre's production of "Cinderella" will run from December 6 to December 22 at Cantey V. Sutton Theatre. The show promises music, humor, and magic for audiences of all ages.

On December 10, the North Carolina Master Chorale presents "Joy of the Season" at Meymandi Concert Hall. The concert features a variety of holiday favorites performed by their Symphonic Choir, Chamber Choir, and Youth Choir.

Theatre Raleigh's "Holiday Cabaret" takes place from December 12 to December 15. Attendees can enjoy performances in a cozy setting with drinks available at Theatre Raleigh on Old Wake Forest Road.

Carolina Ballet's rendition of "The Nutcracker," featuring new choreography by Zalman Raffael and magical illusions, runs from December 12 to December 24 at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium.

North Raleigh Arts & Creative Theatre offers its "Heart of Christmas Cabaret" from December 13 to December 15. The event includes holiday classics and complimentary wine bar service.

Artspace hosts a Holiday Market on December 14 featuring handmade creations by over fifty artists. Visitors can enjoy art-making activities along with hot cocoa and treats while shopping for unique gifts.

The Raleigh Ringers continue their tradition with holiday concerts on December 14 and December 15 at Meymandi Concert Hall. Their program includes sacred and secular music as well as rock 'n' roll tunes arranged for handbells.

Pure Life Theatre Company presents "Motown Sound of Christmas" on December 21 at The Fountain of Raleigh. This show combines Motown hits with holiday favorites performed by local talent.

Finally, First Night Raleigh caps off the festivities on New Year’s Eve across downtown Raleigh with interactive art installations, performances in various genres, culminating in fireworks after midnight following the iconic Acorn Drop.
