The Raleigh Police Department (RPD) and the Raleigh Fire Department (RFD) are set to face off in a friendly hockey match. This event is scheduled for April 1, 2025, at the Lenovo Center, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend this free event.

Proceeds from the match will go towards supporting Officer Gillick, who sustained injuries in an officer-involved shooting earlier this year. Donations can be made at the door or online.

Further information about the event and ways to contribute can be found on the Raleigh Police Department Foundation's website. Doors for the event will open at 6:00 p.m.
