Forward Sebastian Aho aims to continue his scoring streak as the Carolina Hurricanes face off against the Detroit Red Wings. Aho, who recently scored an overtime goal at Lenovo Center, has achieved a record of five overtime goals in one season. He averages a point per game against Detroit with 26 points in as many meetings.

Frederik Andersen is expected to be the goaltender for Carolina. Andersen seeks his first win since January 28 after experiencing four consecutive losses. Despite this, he has maintained a strong record against Detroit with an 11-1-1 performance and a .925 save percentage over 13 appearances.
