Governor Josh Stein has introduced a new website aimed at attracting individuals to work for the state of North Carolina. The initiative is targeted at those who have been displaced due to Hurricane Helene or recent federal budget cuts. The website also offers resources for servicemembers, their spouses, and veterans interested in state government positions.

“North Carolina is a great place to live, play, and work,” stated Governor Josh Stein. “Public servants help make our state everything that it is, and there are many talented people looking for work right now. The State of North Carolina is proud to welcome smart and dedicated public-spirited people to join our team.”

OSHR Director Staci Meyer added, “If you have recently been displaced from your career of service, North Carolina encourages you to apply. My team at OSHR will help you find a job that matches your needs.”

The website www.nc.gov/joinNC allows interested public servants to connect with an employment recruiter from OSHR who will assist in matching their skills with suitable state government jobs.

North Carolina seeks experienced professionals eager for a career in public service. The state welcomes job seekers from various industries and aims to provide them with fulfilling careers that make a difference.

Visit the website at www.nc.gov/joinNC for more information.
