Ants possess an extraordinary sense of smell, allowing them to locate food from considerable distances. Butterflies, on the other hand, have the unique ability to taste nectar through their feet. Such fascinating adaptations in the animal kingdom will be the focus of a session at Forest Ridge Park.
The event, titled "Super Animal Senses Kids," will offer insights into these remarkable animal abilities and how they aid in survival. Participants will partake in interactive activities designed to engage their senses and listen to stories that highlight these unique adaptations.
"Super Animal Senses Kids" is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 27, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The session is tailored for children aged 7 to 11 years old, with a fee of $3. Interested attendees can register through RecLink.
