Toyota Motor North America, the Official Automotive Partner of the NFL, is planning a series of events and content for the upcoming NFL Draft. The focus will be on the new 2025 Grand Highlander, along with partnerships involving NFL FLAG and Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love.
Toyota will be sponsoring the NFL Draft Red Carpet and creating a fan area within the NFL Draft Experience in Green Bay. Located at Lambeau Field, these events will revolve around the theme of making a grand entrance. "Toyota knows greatness doesn’t drive solo. Our NFL Draft campaign rolls out the red carpet, giving future superstars a grand entrance alongside those who helped set them on a path to success," said Dedra DeLilli, vice president of marketing communications at Toyota.
The 2025 Grand Highlander will feature prominently, offering fans entering the event a firsthand look at the new model. As part of the fan fest, attendees can participate in a "Toyota NFL Grand Entrance" photo opportunity and interact with other Toyota vehicles, such as the 2025 4Runner and a custom-built Ultimate Tailgate Tundra. These events are free and open to the public from April 24th to 26th.
A key component of the promotion involves Toyota sponsoring NFL FLAG athletes. During the Draft in Green Bay, Jordan Love will join Toyota in highlighting rising talent. NFL FLAG players will have the opportunity to step onto the Draft Theatre stage and announce draft selections live. Additionally, Toyota will financially support local NFL FLAG teams in the Green Bay area by covering registration kit fees for the fall season.
Jordan Love commented on the initiative: "These FLAG athletes are at a key point where visualizing their future success is critical, so I think it’s really cool that Toyota and I can help put them on a path to walk the red carpet, get an insider’s look at the Draft and then actually select a live pick on the Draft stage."
Coinciding with the NFL Draft, Toyota will launch a new commercial on April 21st. The commercial highlights the cultural phenomenon of "game day drip," showing young flag football players elegantly arriving at a field in the Grand Highlander. The content will be distributed across multiple channels.
Toyota, a major force in North American automotive production, is expanding its electrified vehicle offerings. As of spring 2025, the North Carolina plant will start producing automotive batteries, reinforcing Toyota's commitment to sustainable mobility. Currently, Toyota provides 32 electrified vehicle options, more than any other manufacturer.
