City of Raleigh issued the following announcement on Nov. 7.
Ever wonder why a gobbler's head is bare or what all those feathers are for?
Join us on Saturday, November 19 from 10:00 -11:30 a.m. to find out the secrets of turkeys.
All ages are welcome, but most appropriate for families with children elementary school age or older.
Adult(s) must accompany participant(s),
Register, and pay the program fee.
This program costs $4 to attend and will take place at the Thomas G. Crowder Woodland Center.
