The City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department has announced plans to create a Greenway System Wayfinding Plan and update the Capital Area Greenway System Map. According to the department, "The City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department is creating a Greenway System Wayfinding Plan and updating the Capital Area Greenway System Map." This initiative aims to enhance navigation, accessibility, and safety for all trail users. In the words of the department, "Together, the Wayfinding Plan and updated System map will improve navigation, accessibility and safety for all trail users."

As part of the project, the department is seeking input from the community on what they would like to see on the new wayfinding signage and updated map. They have urged residents to participate in a survey to provide their feedback and suggestions.

The updated Greenway System Wayfinding Plan and System Map are expected to have a positive impact on the city's outdoor recreational facilities, making it easier for residents and visitors to navigate the trails and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Residents and stakeholders who are interested in shaping the future of Raleigh's greenway system are encouraged to participate in the survey and share their ideas for the upcoming changes.
