A new self-defense class is set to begin at Brier Creek, offering individuals the opportunity to empower themselves with the art of Krav Maga. The class, led by expert instructor Jeffrey Weisenborne, is open to individuals of all skill levels, as stated by the instructor, "Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned enthusiast, this class welcomes everyone to discover the art of real-world self-defense without any prerequisites." Participants can expect to learn the foundational principles and techniques of Krav Maga, focusing on simplicity and efficiency for practical self-defense in everyday situations. The class will also include drills addressing real-world scenarios to enhance participants' reaction skills and confidence.
According to the announcement, the self-defense class will not only help individuals discover their physical and mental strength but also provide them with the necessary tools to protect themselves and their loved ones. Interested individuals aged 15 and above can join the class, which will take place on Tuesdays starting June 4 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The cost of the class is $50 per month, and registration can be done on RecLink.
