Abbotts Creek is set to host a Salsa dancing course every Tuesday night, inviting individuals of all skill levels to join in the fun. The course promises to provide a welcoming environment for beginners with a passion for dance.
"Two left feet? No problem! No partner? Not necessary," assures the organizers of the event. Participants can look forward to learning "the basic fundamentals of salsa timing, rhythm, footwork and an introduction to partner dancing." The program is structured as a progressive course, ensuring that each week builds upon the prior one by reviewing previous material and introducing new steps.
"The course is designed to stimulate a love for Salsa dancing and build a community of dancers," highlighting the importance of not only learning the dance but also fostering a sense of camaraderie among participants. As for practical advice, attendees are advised to "wear non-rubber sole shoes and comfortable clothing" to fully enjoy the experience.
With a call to action, the organizers enthusiastically urge everyone to "Come on out and get ready to move those hips!" The sessions are scheduled to take place every Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and are open to individuals aged 16 and above. The cost for participation is $45 per month, and interested individuals can secure their spot by registering on RecLink.
