Historic Allan Herschell Carousel reopens at John Chavis Memorial Park

The Historic Allan Herschell Carousel is set to reopen at John Chavis Memorial Park. The public will have access starting Tuesday, July 2, with new operating hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The carousel will remain closed on Mondays.

Tickets are priced at $2 per ride for anyone over one year old. "Regardless of age," the park administration states, "we hope you will come to experience the joy of the carousel."
