The City of Raleigh is urging residents to participate in the Downtown Mobility Study survey before the extended deadline of July 31. This follows a well-attended Open House event on May 29, which saw over 130 attendees learning about the study and other city projects.

For those who missed the initial meeting, there is still an opportunity to contribute. The survey aims to gather public input essential for developing network elements that will combine technical analysis with community feedback. These draft transportation elements are expected to be reviewed later this year and into early 2025.

The Raleigh Downtown Mobility Study is a city-led initiative focused on enhancing multimodal planning and policy recommendations for downtown Raleigh. The study seeks to integrate transportation best practices, consider all modes of transportation—including walking, biking, transit, and driving—and identify strategies that support downtown transportation goals.
