The sixth annual Mud Day event is set to take place on Saturday, August 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The celebration aims to honor wetlands and the joys of mud-related activities.

Attendees can expect a variety of attractions including a giant mud pit, a mud kitchen, live animals, fort building, an obstacle course, crafts, and water play. Local environmental organizations will also be present at the event.

The festival is open to all ages and admission is free. Participants are encouraged to come dressed for messy and wet conditions.
