Marsh Creek Park has announced a variety of programs and activities for the fall season, catering to a wide range of interests and age groups. These offerings are designed to encourage community engagement through physical activity, creativity, outdoor exploration, and learning new skills.
**Be Active!**
The park will host several sports and fitness classes. "Basketball Skills Development" is scheduled for Sundays from 3-4 p.m., aimed at children aged 5-15, with a fee of $5 per session. According to the organizers, this program focuses on fundamental basketball skills for beginners and intermediate players.
Adults can join the "Barre-Pilates Fusion" class on Thursdays from 8-9 a.m., combining Barre and Mat Pilates techniques. This low-impact workout costs $10 per class or $40/$55 per month.
For younger children aged 3-6, "smALL Stars Toddler Sports" will take place on Tuesdays from 10:15 - 11 a.m. at $41/$56 per month. This program introduces toddlers to various sports while emphasizing coordination and teamwork.

During TACO Week (September 23 -29), families can participate in a free Garden and Orchard Scavenger Hunt suitable for ages three and up.

Unique programs include the “Without Series” of social classes for toddlers held monthly on Wednesdays at $8 per session. Additionally, young children can learn bike riding basics in “Let’s Ride: An Introduction to Bike Riding” every Monday from September 9-30.
Teens interested in creative arts can attend the “Balloon Animal Making” class on October 10 or participate in “SRIS Cooking,” which offers cooking lessons tailored for teens and adults with disabilities.

For those looking to enhance their mental health knowledge, the park offers an intensive “Mental Health First Aid” course on September 14 for individuals aged fifteen years and older at a cost of $95.
Finally, support groups such as “Nursing Mothers of Raleigh” provide free sessions every Thursday morning or evening focusing on breastfeeding education and related topics.
