City of Raleigh opens registration for winter youth basketball league

Fall athletic leagues are winding down, which means it’s time for winter youth basketball. The City of Raleigh Athletics Department will be offering youth basketball for ages 5-17 (as of Aug. 31, 2024). Leagues will be available at various City of Raleigh community centers.

Open registration will be held from Oct. 1-14. Interested athletes may register online or at any City of Raleigh community center during the registration period. The Athletics Program will provide general equipment for practices and games, as well as team uniforms.

Registration: Oct. 1-14

Ages: 5 to 17 years old (League age as of Aug. 31, 2024)

Fee: $51 for Raleigh residents and $66 for non-Raleigh residents
