Eric Tulsky, General Manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, announced that defenseman Riley Stillman has been recalled from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Stillman, aged 26, had missed the first 14 games of the Hurricanes' season due to a lower body injury. He made his debut with the team on January 28 against the New York Rangers. During his time with the Wolves, he accumulated five points through two goals and three assists over 20 appearances. The player from Peterborough, Ontario, played for the Rochester Americans in the 2023-24 season, recording six points and 49 penalty minutes across 47 games. Standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 207 pounds, Stillman joined Carolina as a free agent on July 3. Initially drafted by Florida in the fourth round as the 114th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Draft, he has achieved a total of 26 points in his NHL career with teams including Florida, Chicago, Vancouver, Buffalo, and Carolina.
