Logan Stankoven is anticipated to make his debut for the Carolina Hurricanes in their upcoming match against the Winnipeg Jets at Lenovo Center. During practice, Stankoven was seen playing alongside Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov, both on a line and the team's primary power-play unit.

Carolina's recent acquisition, Mark Jankowski, participated as an extra forward during practice. Head Coach Rod Brind'Amour expressed uncertainty about which of the 13 forwards would not play in the game.

Defenseman Dmitry Orlov will miss another game due to an upper-body injury. Scott Morrow, recalled from Chicago, will replace him. This marks Morrow's third appearance this season with the Hurricanes; he previously played against Winnipeg on February 4th.

Frederik Andersen is set to be in goal after Pyotr Kochetkov's performance against Boston. Andersen has a career record of 13-2-2 against Winnipeg.

The projected lineup includes forwards Svechnikov, Aho, Stankoven; Martinook, Staal, Jarvis; Hall, Kotkaniemi, Blake; Robinson, Jost, Roslovic with Jankowski as a possible scratch. The defense pairs are Slavin-Burns, Chatfield-Morrow, Gostisbehere-Walker. Injuries include William Carrier and Jesper Fast being out long-term while Orlov's return is undetermined.

Betting odds favor the Hurricanes at -140 according to Fanatics Sportsbook.
