Raleigh prepares diverse spring events including egg hunts and nature walks

Raleigh, North Carolina is set to host a variety of spring events catering to different age groups. The events range from egg hunts and nature walks to craft activities and dances, offering something for everyone in the community.

On March 28, Pullen Community Center will host two free events: "The Hoppiest Egg Hunt Ever" for children aged 0-5 from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and "The Egg-Mazing Race" for adults aged 18 and up from 6 to 8 p.m.

A.L. Wilkerson Nature Preserve Park will offer a "Spring Walk" on March 29 from 10:30 a.m. to noon for those aged 12 and older, with an entry fee of $3.

April begins with "Meet the Bunny" at Abbotts Creek Community Center on April 8 for children aged six and younger, costing $3 per participant.

Teens can enjoy the "Egg-citing Teen Glow Egg Hunt" at Lions Park on April 10, which is free for ages 12-17.

Brier Creek will hold "The Great Eggstravaganza" on April 11 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for children aged 0-12, followed by the SRIS Spring Fling Dance at Laurel Hills later that evening for participants aged 15 and older with a $5 entry fee.

Mordecai Historic Park will have an all-ages egg hunt on April 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., while Kiwanis Park offers another free egg hunt that same day from 10 a.m. to noon for kids aged up to twelve.

For those interested in crafts, Brier Creek will host "Holiday Crafts - Hopping Into Spring" on April 12, costing $5 for participants aged six and older.

Barwell Road Community Center's "Excellent Egg Hunt," scheduled for April 15 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., welcomes children aged up to twelve at no cost. On the same day, John Chavis Community Center offers "Egg-Tastic Art" from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for ages five through twelve with a $5 fee.

"Hopping Down the Bunny Trail," a free event at Marsh Creek on April 17, invites children up to age twelve from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Millbrook Exchange hosts "Little Gardeners - Spring Has Sprung" on April 25 with an $8 fee for young gardeners aged three to five.

Finally, Biltmore Hills will feature two events on April19; "Breakfast with the Bunny," open to all ages at $5 per person, followed by the "Bouncing Biltmore Egg Hunt."

These events provide opportunities for families and individuals in Raleigh to engage in seasonal activities throughout March and April.
