In an upcoming class titled "Let's Talk Preparedness," participants will delve into strategies for effective emergency and disaster planning. The session will cover vital topics including self-sufficiency, efficient utilization of space, stocking and storing essentials, planning for unique needs, and the fundamentals of gardening and community building. Participants will gain valuable insights on sustained preparation.
The class will be conducted by experienced staff covering each area addressed in the program. Attendees will depart with enhanced preparedness knowledge and tools to face future uncertainties. Complementary fishing starter kits will be provided, with additional items offered during the class.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Marsh Creek Community Center on Wednesday, May 21, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. It is open to individuals aged 16 and older at a cost of $60. Interested participants can register through RecLink.
