Nominations are now open for the 2025 Sir Walter Raleigh Awards, a tradition since 1983 that honors new contributions enhancing Raleigh's character and environment. Interested individuals can submit nominations from April 14 through May 12, until 11:59 p.m. Submissions require an online form and 10 digital photos of the project.
The Raleigh City Council has recognized over 200 recipients, including developers, designers, building owners, community groups, civic clubs, churches, and citizens, acknowledging their efforts to improve the city's visual appeal and environment.
Anyone interested in recognizing exceptional design within the city can participate in the nomination process.
