On Thursday, January 4th, come join us for a captivating storytelling session that celebrates black emancipation and determination. Our talented storyteller, Patty Cake, will take you on a journey through history using imagery and songs that will leave you inspired.

This special event, titled "Storytime with the Popes," will be a unique opportunity to groove, sing, and learn about the struggles and triumphs of black individuals throughout history. The event is open to all ages and will run from 10 to 11 a.m.

The inspiration behind this storytelling session comes from the desire to shed light on the important topic of black emancipation. Patty Cake, our storyteller, has carefully curated a selection of stories that highlight the perseverance and determination of black individuals in their quest for freedom and equality.
